Per aix\u00f2, les tecnologies desenvolupades fins ara utilitzen materials altament absorbents per garantir un aprofitament \u00f2ptim de l&#8217;espectre solar. Tot i aix\u00f2, aquesta caracter\u00edstica representa una limitaci\u00f3 en la integraci\u00f3 de la fotovoltaica en aplicacions com l&#8217;arquitectura, on l&#8217;opacitat de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules solars tradicionals resulta incompatible amb els requisits funcionals i est\u00e8tics necessaris.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En els darrers anys, s&#8217;ha treballat intensament en el desenvolupament de dispositius fotovoltaics de tercera generaci\u00f3, entre els quals s&#8217;hi inclouen les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules solars transparents. Aquests dispositius estan dissenyats per optimitzar la generaci\u00f3 d&#8217;electricitat aprofitant l&#8217;espectre infraroig i\/o ultraviolat de la radiaci\u00f3 solar, minimitzant alhora l&#8217;absorci\u00f3 de radiaci\u00f3 a l&#8217;espectre visible i la distorsi\u00f3 del color. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A causa de la complexitat dels processos de fabricaci\u00f3 de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules solars transparents, \u00e9s essencial desenvolupar t\u00e8cniques que permetin detectar defectes durant la producci\u00f3 dels dispositius. Aix\u00f2 no nom\u00e9s assegura la qualitat final del producte, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 contribueix a reduir els costos de fabricaci\u00f3 i optimitzar els processos de s\u00edntesi.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb empreses i centres de recerca participants al projecte <a href=\"https:\/\/fotocer.wordpress.com\/\">FOTO-CER<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lenz-instruments.com\">Lenz Instruments<\/a> ha desenvolupat un conjunt de t\u00e8cniques per detectar la pres\u00e8ncia de defectes en c\u00e8l\u00b7lules solars transparents.
